Paltalk has come along way since its birth in late 1998 when we had 2 servers and 3 staff members. We have been growing steadily every year and the stats are pretty amazing, so we wanted to share some of them with you….

Every day on Paltalk…
- 20 Terabytes of data pass thru our servers — that’s 20,480 gigabytes, or 20,971,520 MB (approx 6,990,506 MP3 files) or 214,748,364 KB…or 6 cans of cold beer, 2 Ducks and a damp iPod…Ok, I made that last one up :).
- 200,000 pals are added. Lots of friends are made on Paltalk (we aren’t going to tell you how many pals are removed a day hehe).
- 100,000 Chat Rooms are opened by our fantastic members!
- 14,400,000 IMs are sent.
- 25,000,000 Chat Room text messages are sent.
Other stats…
- Our busiest time of the week is 5PM (EST) Sundays
- Over 55 Million Nicknames have been created to date.
- There are ~800 Paltalk Server processes.
