About Marc Forster<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marc Forster was born in eastern Switzerland and moved to New York \nwhen he was 20 years old. For the next three years, he attended NYU's \nfilm school and several documentary films. In 1995, he moved to \nHollywood and shot an experimental low budget film, which won the \nSlamdance Audience Award. His breakthrough film was Monster's Ball \n(2001), in which he directed Halle Berry in her Academy Award-winning \nperformance.<\/p>\n
